Staten Island, New York: Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik proudly announced his endorsement of Republican / Conservative candidate Leticia Remauro for Staten Island Borough President.

Said Kerik, “Tough. Loyal. Clear eyed. Unafraid. Smart. These are leadership qualities. This is also how many describe Leticia Remauro, which is why she’ll make an excellent Staten Island Borough President. I’m supporting Leticia for BP because today we live in a world where leadership is lacking, and Staten Island needs the best of the best!”
Said Remauro, “It is an honor to have the endorsement of New York City’s most widely recognized top cop. I had the pleasure of working with Commissioner Kerik during a time when New York was one of the safest big cities in America. I look forward to working with him again – supporting our men and women in blue so Staten Islanders can feel safe once again.”

Leticia Remauro is the only Republican candidate for Staten Island Borough President also endorsed by the Staten Island Conservative Party.

Mr. Kerik’s endorsement joins those of former New York City mayoral candidate and talk radio host John Catsimaditis as well as 77 WABC radio hosts Sid Rosenberg and Bernie McGuirk of “Bernie and Sid in the Morning.” Remauro is also endorsed by the National Association of Bail Agents, the Retired Police Officers – Brooklyn & Staten Island 10-13 Association, and neighbors throughout Staten Island.
